He was a great man and a pretty darned good hockey player, too. I'm thrilled that my Uncle, Larry Wilson, will be inducted into the Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame tonight. After playing in the NHL, he spent many years with the AHL's Buffalo Bisons and now, nearly 50 years later, he remains their all-time leading scorer.
Congratulations to my cousin, Ron, who will accept the award and to his brothers Randy, Brad and Dale. Your Dad was one of my favorite people and I know he'll smile on you tonight.
